We are currently looking for two or more volunteers at historic McIlvoy House located in Olde Town Arvada. We are currently open Fridays and Saturdays 11am – 2pm. A commitment of at least one day a month is needed but more is welcome!
McIlvoy House volunteers greet visitors that come in, show them around the collections, try to answer questions they may have, show them our books and other merchandise and handle the sale of such. Volunteers answer phone calls and pick up any messages that are there when arriving and either call the person back or refer the message to someone who can help them.
Volunteers may also help people do research in our archives.
Volunteers may be asked to help with projects they we have going when visitors are not present and help keep the front room tidy and uncluttered.
