The Arvada Flour Mill

The historic Arvada Flour Mill, located at 5590 Olde Wadsworth Blvd., is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  We currently provide tours with an appointment when a volunteer is available. Please check in advance as we can’t always be there. Email arvadahistory@outlook.com to request a schedule.

Advance tickets may be purchased at Carly’s Boutique (7401 Grandview Avenue). You may also buy tickets at the mill as you arrive for a tour. Tickets are $10 for those over 12 and include a complimentary copy of “The Old Mill” by Lois Lindstrom. Please note that tickets are $5 for members of the Arvada Historical Society. Anyone wearing their Arva-Pride t-shirt may enjoy a free tour.

Regular weekly tours will take place on Sundays, June through September. Tours leave at 10am and 11am and generally take 45 minutes. We will be closed on July 6 and August 31.

Our tour guide will take you through this rare and uniquely preserved historic mill and show you how wheat was milled into flour in an ingenious design by Eugene Emory Benjamin. You’ll also learn about a simpler Arvada in the first half of the 20th century. Come immerse yourself in the past while supporting our mission to keep the mill alive!
